Chad is making his mark in the world of Scandinavian storytelling. No event is too large or too small for Chad’s blend of historical and family tales. His performances include stories of Scandinavian immigrants and their descendants in the Upper Midwest, and even a story about Chad’s grandmother, Lily Filley.

Below is a sampling of recordings of Chad’s storytelling. The three Scandinavian stories include: Lutefisk, a personal story with some humor; The New Pastor, based on an interview; and The Long Walk, drawn from archival research. The final video, The Cross-Stitch Picture, tells the story of Chad confronting the woman responsible for killing his mother.
